Welcome to my digital garden! I'm Adeline, and you might be asking yourself "what is a digital garden?". Well, according to Ness Labs it can be define as "an online space at the intersection of a notebook and a blog". I do a lot of research and Wikipedia binging, and without a central place to organize all my thoughts and research I find myself forgetting or misremembering complicated topics I once fully understood. I've always thought that if you truly understand a topic or concept you are able to teach it to someone else, and my unfortunate friends are usually the (un)willing victims to my endless explanations and rants on topics they don't care much about. So that has lead me to creating this digital garden...

So the two main purposes of this site is as follows:

  1. I think it will be greatly beneficial to take my understanding of the reasearch I do and write it out with cited sources and structured in a way that I am able to best understand it my self. Therefore I know that some sections are going to be a bit vaugue, or some essential concepts/topics will not be explained because I already understand them myself.
  2. I want this website to act as a blog on my various projects and hobbies, such as my foray into film photography and film development at home!
